Now you’re in my back yard! Welcome! 🙂 I was just fishing at Showers Lake past Meiss Meadows on the 11th, but it looks like I missed you by a week. Would have been a kick to run into you while bobbing around in the lake after following your blog. Thanks, BTW, for pointing me to Muk Muk’s blog. Because of the two of you I am fighting a severe case of trekking envy!

I have some friends from around here (Sac Valley) section hiking just south of Lassen right now. Maybe you’re past by now, but if you do run into them tell ‘me hi for me!

I think you are doing a great job giving us a blog daily. Your writing just keeps getting better and better. I’m having so much fun going on your adventure with you as I am swimming in place for now. Thank you for sharing. KD
