Glad to read you are putting in some miles! You sound strong and your creativity and pictures have been wonderful the last few weeks. Enjoy the sierras, be safe.
I get ridiculously happy every time my email tells me there’s an update from Carrot! 🙂
I am so thrilled and impressed by you, overcoming 700 miles of brutal desert hiking. You have huge trail cred. The Sierra Nevada is heaven on earth, truly the range of light. I just got back from Grand Teton and Yellowstone, with their sickly lodgepole pine forests they pale in comparison to the Sierra. You have arrived at the promised land of Sequoias and Redwoods, of granite and alpine lakes and streams, .
I imagine this whole experience is changing your life and all your new friend’s lives in some monumental and profound way, it must, this is what the challenge of life is all about. All the hardships, exhilarations and joys, it’s all there in your writing!
Hurrah!
How many times have I scrolled through your photos and exclaimed…… Well, quietly….. “It is SO beautiful! Oh my god.”
