This week I start a thru-hike of the Arizona Trail! It’s been a few years since I’ve walked a trail this long and straightforward, and I am… very excited. I’m gonna roast in the sun, drink cow water, have a great time. I’ll be blogging every day here, posting photos on instagram (@carrotquinn) and also posting videos on tiktok (@carrotquinn)- I’ve already put up a gear video and a food resupply video there. While I’m hiking I’ll be raising money for Trans Queer Pueblo, a rad organization that supports trans and queer people in immigration detention. The group already has a gofundme here– the gofundme is at $9,400, and I want to see if we can get it to its goal of $15,000 while I’m hiking! For every $150 donated, I’ll put up a daily blog post. I’m so excited for a long walk!
